Escape from the Gilded CageEpisode 2

Synopsis

This is the tragedy of Shen Hanyun, the eldest daughter of the Shen family: she was forced to take the blame and serve a five-year prison sentence to save her younger sister Shen Miaomiao, who suffered from depression. After her release from prison, she was neglected and expelled by her family—she was only allowed to live in the utility room at the backyard of the villa. However, Shen Miaomiao, the sister she once saved, had become the family’s favorite; she even tried to take away Shen Hanyun’s fiancé Gu Yuzhe. As the truth gradually came to light, it turned out that the bone marrow transplant for Gu Yuzhe was secretly done by Shen Hanyun, not Shen Miaomiao. Awakened amid humiliation, Shen Hanyun finally chose to accept a top-secret scientific research project from the Aerospace Bureau (requiring her to live under an alias) and escaped from the distorted cage of her family.
