EnglishEpisode 2

Synopsis

Congenitally deaf vet Yunhe is cast out by her aunt. She brings three sick animals to her late father’s forest farm deep in Changbai Mountains. Discovering her father’s diary, she cures the beasts with ancient recipes — they are wounded ancient divine beasts in slumber. Japanese Onmyoji assault Changbai’s spiritual barrier, and the three beasts rouse to battle. Shen Yue of Bureau 749 arrives with his unit for joint patrol. Yunhe breaks her father’s ear-sealing seal, unlocking spiritual perception and spirit mastery. Together with the divine beasts, she defeats the invaders and builds a tripartite guardian alliance to defend the mountains and territory.
