EnglishEpisode 3

Synopsis

On his deathbed, Thomas, founder of the Hayward family, begs Ares, the immortal god of war, to guard his granddaughter Natalie in mortal guise for three years. Hiding his identity, Ares becomes Natalie's husband, silently shielding the Hayward family—yet he is repeatedly met with humiliation and scorn from Natalie and her relatives and friends. When the three years end, Ares walks away, and only then does Natalie realize that the family's glory rested entirely on his shoulders. Stripped of his protection, the Hayward family crumbles in an instant. Sinking into despair, Natalie finally sees the truth and chooses to rebuild the empire on her own—while Ares sets out on a new journey.
