If never loved youEpisode 3

Synopsis

Song Yuewei and Shen Wan spend everything and sell a kidney to fund treatment for their supposedly gravely ill boyfriend Lu Yu (Zhou Jingchi). Yet they accidentally catch him at a KTV and uncover the truth: he is a wealthy Hong Kong socialite who faked his sickness to toy with them. They later endure repeated humiliation, forced drinking and beatings until kidney failure leaves them on the brink of death. Only then does Lu Yu learn they sold a kidney for him. He donates his kidney to save them before passing away quietly. The drama uses stark contrasts to expose the rift between hollow amusement and selfless sacrifice, ending with irredeemable atonement and eternal separation.
