Fates Rewoven: No Meeting Beyond Death(English dubbed version)Episode 2

Synopsis

In her previous life, Shen Qingcheng was a tofu seller known as the "Tofu Beauty" in the folk. She married a fellow townsman named Lu Shao 'an. However, Lu Shao 'an, who failed to become the top scorer in the imperial examination, became increasingly listless. He indulged in eating, drinking and pleasure, and showed no ambition. He even abused Shen Qingcheng. One day, when a creditor came to collect the debt, both Shen Qingcheng and Lu Shao 'an died in a fire. When they opened their eyes again, they both returned to the day of their marriage. This time, the two resolutely parted ways. One became the empress of the current dynasty, and the other became the son-in-law of the prime minister and was a prospective new top scorer. At the top scorer's banquet, they met again. Lu Shao 'an, mistaking her for a commoner, humiliated her by looking down on her from above.
