A three-year-old orphan, Lily loses both parents and is falsely branded a jinx by the villagers. Despite the rumors, Emma, a blind old woman, takes her in. With the mysterious power of her angel pendant, Lily performs miracles of healing, foresight, and recovering lost things, time and again dispelling the slander and persecution against her.
