Handlung

Retired academician Lin Zhenshan shuns fame, disguising himself as a poor, limping worker to seek true love back home. After several failed blind dates, wonton‑stall owner Su Xiulan spots his reliable nature beneath his ragged look. The two weather‑beaten middle‑aged people bond over plain food and decide to spend their later years together. Gossip and her pestering ex‑husband soon follow, and chaos breaks out when Lin’s real identity is revealed. Caught between status and genuine love, they stick to the wonton stall, proving nothing is more valuable than loyal devotion.
