EnglishEpisode 28

Synopsis

Six years ago, Shen Qingmeng was on the verge of death due to a difficult childbirth. Her wealthy husband, Huo Yanchen, kneeled and begged his father, Huo Shan, to save her, but was ruthlessly abandoned. Shen Qingmeng narrowly escaped death with her daughter, Shen Xing, struggling to survive amid poverty and illness. Six years later, Huo Jiye developed a rare form of anemia. Huo Shan discovered that Shen Xing could serve as a "blood bank" and even forcibly drew blood from her, nearly killing his granddaughter. When Huo Yanchen recognized his wandering wife and daughter, Shen Qingmeng was already terminally ill, and Shen Xing, traumatized both physically and mentally from long-term abuse, was in a pitiful state. Family obstruction and his fiancée’s persecution followed one after another, until Huo Shan, in an attempt to protect the family bloodline, struck again with malicious intent. In the end, Huo Yanchen cleaned up the family with an iron fist, exposed his father’s crimes at the engagement banquet, and spent the rest of his life making amends for the broken family ties.
