Dad’s Late AwakeningEpisodio 2

Sinopsis

Song Xiaochen once had a happy family. But unexpected changes occurred after she attended the company's annual dinner with her father Song Mingzhe. Her mother Liang Yunwan suddenly fell ill and urgently needed the signature of an adult family member for emergency treatment. However, Song Mingzhe ignored his daughter's pleas because he was accompanying his female supervisor Ling Wei to see a doctor, leading to Liang Yunwan's death. Since then, Song Xiaochen repeatedly caught her father in lies and firmly believed he was having an affair with Ling Wei. Obsessed with getting a promotion, Song Mingzhe trusted Ling Wei blindly, broke his promises to his wife and daughter time and again, and even denied his wife's death. To maintain his public image and consolidate his position, he even forced his deceased wife "to attend" his promotion banquet on their wedding anniversary. Completely disappointed with her father, Song Xiaochen resolved to expose all this absurdity at the promotion banquet.
