Synopsis

Young returnee Lin Ye heads home amid an impending storm. He offers cheap summer sowing services and clashes with market monopolist cousin Lin Dajun. Disasters including fake seeds, drought, pests and early frost keep hitting the village. Driving an old tractor, Lin Ye guides villagers through every hardship. Seed firm technician Wang Xue joins him after initial distrust, introducing scientific farming to replace old customs. Lin Ye rejects unfair pricing from grain traders, obtains organic certification and builds the Storm Summer Sowing brand, bringing prosperity to all villagers. Storms can destroy fields, yet never defeat united hearts.
