Sinopse

Agricultural Ph.D. Lin Wanxing travels back to the 1990s and is forced by her uncle's family to marry someone in exchange for a bride price. To protect her ancestral land, she sets three conditions and enters into a contractual marriage with Yin Luozhou, a disabled military veteran. Using her modern agricultural knowledge, Lin transforms the saline-alkali land and earns the recognition of agricultural technician director Wang Shouliang. Meanwhile, Yin Luozhou silently protects her at every turn, and as they spend their days together, their contractual marriage gradually turns into true love. When Yin Luozhou goes to the capital for leg treatment, his childhood sweetheart Su Qingyue interferes and drives a wedge between them, while his hidden identity is finally revealed. Heartbroken by his long-kept secret, Lin returns to the countryside. Yin follows her and offers all his wealth to win back her forgiveness. Lin gives him a three-month trial period. As their cooperative is successfully established, the two finally resolve their misunderstandings and choose to spend their lives together in the countryside.
