EnglishEpisode 2

Synopsis

Twenty-three years ago, Seraphina gives birth to a daughter, yet her family's preference for sons forces her to swap the baby girl for a boy. The infant is abandoned beside a trash bin, and is mercifully taken in by Miriam, a street cleaner, who names her Nysa. Twenty-three years later, Nysa—selling liquor to pay for her cancer-stricken adoptive mother's treatment—meets and falls for Killian, a cold, arrogant heir. Vesper, the false heiress, usurps Nysa's identity and even cuts away the birthmark on her shoulder in a bid to replace her completely. When the truth surfaces, Vesper lashes out in desperation, and Seraphina takes a blade meant for her daughter. In the end, Nysa releases her resentment, stays by Killian's side, and finally finds the home that was truly hers.
